Join guide
Four steps to spawn.
Pack, whitelist, voice, connect. Budget fifteen minutes — the pack download is most of it, and you only ever do this once. One heads-up before you start: partway through, the server turns you away once, on purpose. That rejection is part of signing up, and this guide shows you the exact screen before it happens.
The server runs 7.3 and only 7.3. A different release gets refused with an error that never mentions versions — so when your launcher offers an update, decline it.
Install the pack The step that matters
Everything below pins the version for you. What you must not do is install “latest” by hand — the server speaks 7.3, nothing else. The pack goes first because step 02 ends with you connecting, and only the pack speaks the server’s exact Minecraft version.
One click, version pinned
The link opens CurseForge’s install page, which hands the pack to the app pinned at exactly 7.3 — allow the “Open CurseForge?” prompt when your browser asks. No app on this machine? The same page notices and offers the installer instead; run it once, then click again.
First launch chews for a few minutes while 455 mods unpack. Let it — and read step 02 while it does, so you know the dance.
Manual route in the CurseForge app
- Open the app, pick Minecraft, then Browse Modpacks.
- Search
All the Mods 10and open it. - Do not press the big Install button — that grabs the newest release. Open the Versions tab instead.
- Find
All the Mods 10-7.3and install that file.
Using Prism Launcher instead
Prism 11.0.3 or newer, no exceptions. CurseForge began enforcing API keys on downloads in July 2026; older Prism builds simply can’t fetch the pack anymore. Check Help → About and update first if you’re behind.
- Add Instance… (Ctrl+N) → the CurseForge tab.
- Search
All the Mods 10, select it. - Set Version selected: to
All the Mods 10-7.3, then OK.
Prism pulls the pack and NeoForge 21.1.247 together. Six of the pack’s 482 files are blocked from direct download; Prism fetches all six from Modrinth on its own — that fallback ships enabled — so the import finishes without you.
Get on the whitelist Two proofs · one visit
One-time, self-service, no admin in the loop. The gate asks you to prove two things:
your @clever.sa inbox shows you’re Clever, and one deliberately doomed
connection shows the Minecraft account is really yours. Budget five minutes or so —
most of it is just the pack launching.
- Tell the gate who you are — your Minecraft username, spelled exactly
the way you log in, and your
@clever.saaddress. - Type back the six-digit code it emails you. Codes live for thirty minutes.
- Launch the pack and knock. Add the address below under Multiplayer → Add Server and join it once. The server turns you away with the screen further down — that rejection is the step working, not failing.
- Watch the gate turn green. Keep the gate page open: it notices your knock on its own and flips to success — nothing to type, nothing to copy out of the game. From then on, the door is open.
Disconnected
You are not white-listed on this server!
Back to Server ListLooks like a failure. It is the proof landing. Nothing broke, and nobody needs a message — switch back to the gate tab and it will already be green, or a few seconds from it. Your launcher may word the grey parts differently; the white line is the one to recognise.
Why a rejection can vouch for you: connecting is the one thing only the account’s real owner can do — your game completes a cryptographic handshake with Mojang on the way in, and the gate trusts that, not the name you typed. The email says you’re Clever; the knock says the account is yours. Between them, a typo or a colleague’s username can’t ride in on your inbox.
Add voice chat Optional · strongly worth it
The server runs Simple Voice Chat — stand near someone and you hear them. The pack doesn’t ship the client mod, so this step is one install plus a minute of in-game setup. Skip it and everything still works; you just play in silence.
Unlock the profile, then one click
The app keeps mod-adding behind a switch. In Minecraft → My Modpacks,
open the pack, click the three dots → Profile Options, tick
Allow content management for this profile, then Done. That gives the
profile an Add More Content button — search Simple Voice Chat
there and install 2.6.21, or skip the searching:
While that switch is on, the app refuses to update or version-change the pack. Here that’s a feature — 7.3 is pinned anyway. Just know that turning it back off later wipes whatever mods you added.
Drop the jar in yourself
We host the exact file, so no account and no hunting:
CurseForge app: right-click the profile →
Open Folder. That lands in the pack’s home folder, not mods —
step into mods from there and drop the jar next to the 455 already inside.
Prism: Edit… (Ctrl+I) →
Mods → Add File copies it in for you.
Where that folder lives, if you’d rather browse
| Launcher / OS | Mods folder |
|---|---|
| CurseForge · Windows | %USERPROFILE%\curseforge\minecraft\Instances\All the Mods 10\mods |
| CurseForge · macOS | ~/Documents/curseforge/minecraft/Instances/All the Mods 10/mods |
| Prism · Windows | %APPDATA%\PrismLauncher\instances\<name>\minecraft\mods |
| Prism · macOS | ~/Library/Application Support/PrismLauncher/instances/<name>/minecraft/mods |
| Prism · Linux | ~/.local/share/PrismLauncher/instances/<name>/minecraft/mods |
The launcher’s own Open Folder button beats these paths — it can’t point at the wrong instance.
- Watch the chat. One line appears —
[Simple Voice Chat] Press V to set up— and that is all. Nothing opens on its own. - Press V and run the short setup: pick your microphone and output, test the levels.
- Bind a push-to-talk key. Push-to-talk is the default mode and no key comes bound; the mic also starts muted. Until you bind one, you hear everyone and transmit nothing.
No mic icon on screen is normal — there is no idle indicator. Icons only show when you’re muted, whispering, talking, or when a plug with a red slash says the voice link is down.
Change any of it later: V opens the voice menu, M mutes the mic, N switches voice off entirely, H hides the icons. The path itself is proven — install, press V, bind, talk.
Connect
Launch the pack and open Multiplayer — the server is already in your list from the knock in step 02, and this time the door opens. Whitelisted before the knock existed? Hit Add Server and paste the address.
This first proper join ships registry data for 455 mods, so the screen can sit at “Joining world…” for a couple of minutes. That is the one and only slow login — after it, seconds.
Can’t connect?
Every failure has one cause.
A wall of red mod names, or “incompatible” on connect
Your pack is not 7.3 — the launcher probably updated it. The error lists mods, never versions, which is why it looks like nonsense. Reinstall through step 01; the button there pins 7.3. And when a launcher offers a pack update, decline it — the server stays on 7.3 until we say otherwise.
“You are not white-listed on this server!”
Mid-signup, this is the good sign — the one rejection the gate sent you to collect. Switch back to the gate tab: it turns green on its own, and your next connect goes through. Seeing it without the gate waiting on you — never signed up, or the page long closed — means the whitelist truly hasn’t seen you; run step 02. Seeing it after the gate said success means your launcher is signed into a different Minecraft account than the one you verified — check the name in the launcher’s corner, then reconnect with the right one.
Knocked as told, but the gate page never turns green
Give it a few seconds and one more try first — the gate is watching the door, not your machine. Still grey? Then the account that knocked isn’t the username you gave the gate: a typo, or a launcher signed into a different account. The gate only whitelists the account it actually saw connect — that’s the security, not a bug — so check the launcher’s signed-in name and start step 02 again with the spelling that matches it.
Stuck at “Joining world…” on the first login
Normal. 455 mods’ worth of registry data is syncing. Give it two minutes; it never happens again.
In the game, but nobody hears you
Almost always the unbound key: push-to-talk is the default mode, ships with
no key bound, and the mic starts muted. Press V, run the setup
from step 03, bind a key. No mod installed means no voice at all, and no
icon on screen means nothing is wrong — there is no idle indicator. The one icon that does
spell trouble is a plug with a red slash: the voice link is down. Voice runs over UDP
3478 — deliberately the same port Microsoft Teams uses, so office networks
let it straight through. If yours is still blocked it is almost certainly a home or mobile
carrier dropping UDP: hop on any other voice-chat server to check, and if that fails too, the
fix is with your connection rather than this server.
“Connection timed out” before the login screen
The server itself is unreachable — rare, and never about your pack. Check the status light on the home page; if it’s red, tell the team and try again in a few minutes.
